Maryam Sanda, alleged killer of her husband, Bilyamin Bello, has been spared, for now, of being remanded in prison by the police.

Anjuguri Manzah, spokesman of the FCT police command said the police did not demand prison remand for her because she is nursing a six month old baby.
Police said they have secured a court order to remand her for two weeks, after charging her at the High Court in the Jabi district of Abuja, with culpable homicide punishable under section 224 of the Penal Code.
“It should also be noted that this present charge is as a result of preliminary findings; at the end of investigations, additional findings will determine whether the current charge will be amended or whether other persons will be charged along with the suspect,” Manza said.
“To assist the police with their ongoing investigations, some persons have been invited for questioning on the matter.”
Sanda is the daughter of Maimuna Aliyu, the former Executive Director of Aso Savings and Loans Limited, while Bello was the son of Haliru Bello, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In the meantime, the police will be relying on the testimony of some security guards, who witnessed the tragic assault.
Sanda allegedly stabbed her husband in the neck, chest and genitals on Saturday while he slept at their home in Maitama, Abuja.
She was said to have rushed him to a hospital where he died.
The deceased was reported to have divorced his first wife before marrying Sanda and the couple had a daughter together.

Can't you see she is trying to fool everyone? or let's just say she has a brilliant lawyer with brilliant strategies! quran, rosary and baby in court all the same time can't be a coincidence, she wants to give a good impression thats all and she doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks of her or regret her actions, all that was to avoid prison at all cost…whatever it takes. Why do you think she covered her face? so we don't see through her, the pretense of regret and remorse. Daughter confronted mummy and warned her to stop but mummy won't just have it, she wanted more as the saying goes \”forbidden fruit is the sweetest\”. So wife now confronted her husband but he denied flat, until that faithful day she saw \”the message\” on her husband's phone that led to his unfortunate and painful death (murdered by wife) . Now its all clear as to why Maryam was being mad obsessive towards her husband. After seeing the message maryam went mad in rage with all sorts of threats but people interfered and calmed her down but during that calm she was plotting a plan to deal with her husband the late Bilyaminu (may God rest his soul), she couldn't kill mummy because mummy is true love, mummy is every childs first love so Bilya was her scape Goat. The stupid lie of falling on a broken shisha pot is dumb even a baby can't be convinced into believing that lie. Anyway, maryam executed her plan by stabbing her husband multiple times and left him there to die even though he begged her to help him she didn't infact she said \”you are getting what you deserve\”. Bilya crawled to the door and called for help, that was where the security came in upon hearing voices in the house Maryam rushed out with car keys like she had the intention of taking him to the hospital which she clearly didn't. If he hadn't done that the case would have been different, either they dump him somewhere and make people believe it was robbery gone wrong or he will just disappear into thin air leaving his family and friends open-mouthed, worried and without closure. Maryam did not feel her husband's death, she wasn't remorseful , she is proud of her wicked act, displaying arrogance all over the place because she actually thought she could get away with murder. Since Bilya's death maryam's first tears was in court when she heard she was infact going to prison.The picture of Maryam and Bilya's house the alleged crime scene that went viral isn't the real crime scene, that was the staged crime scene by maryam's family to make it look like there was a fight. If this case is to be tried transparently her family will also serve some jail time for trying to cover up for her.Mr Judge handling this case please next time tell Maryam to open her face to assure the public she is the one on trial not another person pretending to be her, there are rumors going round Maryam is not in prison that infact she is at home. well this is the real story! my opinion not that its needed, maryam's mum should take responsibility and own up to the crime maryam comitted because she caused it all.
