The Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari has expressed himself by saying he is deeply dissapointed by the postponement of election by the Independent National Electoral Commission
According to his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity He said ” Well I am deeply dissapointed in INEC after a long preparation for the election both locally and internationally they went ahead to postpone the election within hours of it commitment. So many people will be unhappy for traveling afar just to exercise they voting rights on today’s election after hearing that the election have been postponed. Despite the fact that INEC gave their assuramxe concerning the election day in day out, hours after hours that they are ready also we believed them”
The president also ensured that all funds will be returned and also he is preparing to attend the meeting in Abuja which was called by INEC stakeholders to make sure it comes out successful.
The president also plead with Nigerians to remains peaceful and calm concerning the breaking news and appeal on the people to avoid violent act.
