The Nigerian troops have dealt a deadly blow to Boko Haram terrorists after foiling a heavy attack launched by the group on trucks, on Thursday, in Goniri, Yobe state.

According to DailyNigerian, the insurgents had in recent times intensified attacks on military bases. On Monday, they overran a military base in Kukareta, where they killed 13 soldiers and a police officer.

“They were all killed. Their countless bodies are everywhere right now,” said a security source.
