Pregnant Woman, Other Dies In ABA During Truck Chase By Revenue Agents
A pregnant woman and one other passenger has been reported dead in Aba during a truck/tricycle collide while revenue officers was chasing a truck.
According to a source, a revenue agent working for Aba-south local government tried to stop a truck which refused to pull over before they engaged in a chase.
It was reported that a woman in a tricycle lost her life at the spot while other victims were rushed to private hospitals which rejected them due to the weight of the injuries.
Meanwhile the revenue officers who had caused this tragic accident made their way in to the water side river.
Luck ran out of one of the revenue agents who was caught on the run. It was learnt that angry mob almost took the law into their hands if not for the intervention of the police force who surfaced the scene.
