A video making rounds on social media, shows moment a Pastor stopped a wedding because of a bridesmaid and groomsman’s seductive dance.

The seductive dance incident occurred, when it was time for the bridal train to usher in the bride and groom with a dance. The bridesmaid who twerked while the groomsman ‘rocked’ her waist at the wedding ceremony between Emmerson and Yvonne in Zimbabwe, were stopped halfway through the dance after the visibly angry Pastor.

The Pastor who asked the DJ to stop the music, went on to preach to the wedding guests dangers of promoting immorality in church. He further implored elders to monitor rehearsals, to see if moral behavior is taking place. He said;

“Right, DJ excuse, listen to what is being said from the mic, we are celebrating here but we want to notify each other that what is important is to celebrate”

“These people (bridal train) will dance and return to their parents’ homes but the wedding was organised by Emmerson and Yvonne who at the end of the day we want blessed.” “The dances that are happening here, parents and elders, you are all watching and when they finish twerking they want to be intimate, they are not brides.”

Taking a dig at parents and church elders, the man questions the dances by the bridal train. The Pastor further explained that such dance steps by unmarried people should not be encouraged because it could lead to immoral sexual acts which could in turn lead to pregnancy.

“Don’t entertain these things; saying it is today’s generation, you are promoting immorality in church, we may rejoice, but when they leave they want to be intimate, this is nonsense.

“At the end of the day, you are going to have pregnancies that’s why we implore elders to monitor rehearsals to see if moral behaviour is taking place.”
