
Super Falcons of Nigeria will battle Gambia in the second round of Ghana 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The African Champions take Gambia in a two-leg encounter in June after CAF give Super Falcons first-round bye alongside Equatorial Guinea, South Africa and Cameroon.
The West African side scale through to the next round via penalties where they won 5-3 on aggregate after 2-1 lost in Burkina Faso and same scoreline win Baku, Gambia
However, 2016 AWCON runners-up Cameroon will take on Congo who defeated Central African Republic 3-1 on aggregate in the first round.
Seven nations will join hosts country Ghana in the final tournament scheduled for 17 November to 1 December 2018 but three top African teams will qualify for the 2019 World Cup in France.
