Police have confirmed that some suspects were being interrogated over the deaths.
Three boys who were the first children of their respective parents, have lost their lives after attending a birthday party in Edo, Benin State.
The deceased namely; Micheal Osula, Igie Edosomwan and Kelvin Idemudia, were said to be cousins.
The trio met their untimely death after attending the birthday party held at Ogida quarters in Egor Local Government Area.
Their mysterious deaths, have however, caused confusion in the area.
Mother of one the deceased, Comfort Edosomwan, had wailed profusely over the sudden demise of her son.
Edosomwan, who disclosed that her son was about to eat in the house when unidentified friend of his called him to join him to the birthday party, alleged that her son was used for money ritual.
She also appealed to the police to thoroughly investigate the matter, adding that one of the suspects arrested in connection to the deaths had recently returned from Ghana.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed that some suspects were being interrogated over the deaths.
