1. Are you moving in any way? Come on now, strolling 3 blocks from the train stop to your work location does NOT count as exercise. If you have a sedentary job ( a job in which you sit down the entire day ) , you have to get out and get moving . Jog each morning, run up stairs, simply do no matter what it requires to MOVE.

It depends on whether you have been making effort to reduce it already or are just starting. If you are just starting, then I would strongly suggest cleaning up your diet. If your diet is already clean (no junk, sugars, refined carbs, processed foods), then try reducing your daily caloric intake by another 200 or so. If you aren’t working out, then I would suggest exercising regularly. Cardio tends to shed fat quicker, but I always advocate doing strength work in the long run to build muscles (which can help increase your metabolism, but also if you eventually want definition in your abs after reducing the fat.)
If you are already regularly working out, then change up your exercises to increase the intensity. Try doing different HIIT routines, increasing weights, or distances/times. Just remember not to push yourself to extremes and to be overly anxious. In sum, it can take time, since some people hold onto fat around their abs much longer than other parts of their bodies, but if you maintain a really clean diet, avoid overeating, and move regularly, then your tummy size should go down.
