A middle aged man (name withheld) has killed his wife out of anger and dumped her remains beneath a house-like structure built by the couples on the river in Oke Eri street area of Oworonshoki, in Lagos State.
According to the report, the couple constantly have misunderstanding which is known to the neighbours as their usual ways of life. Four days ago, they had a terrible fight which resulted to the husband getting her arrested and she was detained in Oworonshoki Police station and released the next day.
Subsequently, the wife angrily returned home to give it back to the husband in a hot fight that ensued between the duo while the husband battered her to stupor until she passed on.
Noticing she was lifeless, the husband shaved all her hair and dumped her body in the water to cover it up.
However, Neighbours who were bothered about her sudden disappearance inquired from the husband who was quick to deny having knowledge of her whereabouts, not Until her lifeless body which had swam up underneath their structure was found by another neighbour who alerted the people in the residence.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filling this report, the culprit has been arrested with the help of neighborhood residents and taken to the Oworonshoki police station.
