Amber Black’s hopes and dreams were crushed the moment she ended up in a car crash in 2016. The aspiring cosmetology student made it out of the wreck with damage to her jaw and teeth, and she thought her smile would never be the same.
In the video below, Amber explains, “I just healed with the grace of God.”
It took two surgeries and a month in the hospital to repair her jaw, but she was left with four missing teeth once the swelling finally went down. S0, she tried to get her smile back with replacement teeth and fix the shifted ones that were still inside her mouth.
However, three dentists turned her away after examining her. Amber thought the procedure would never happen after facing so many rejections.
Then, she met Dr. Joshua Peter and his dental team.
In the video, we see the dentist working on Amber’s teeth to give her a brand new smile and help her raise her confidence in the process. Because of Amber’s jaw injury, Dr. Joshua says that her opening was much smaller than usual, making it harder to do the procedure. Still, all of his hard work paid off.
Today, Amber looks like a whole new woman and says she’s grateful for, “Waking up in the morning and smiling, and knowing that I can brush my teeth and these are mine.” She’s even attending cosmetology school, which is just another dream that came true for this 28-year-old!
