When I was younger, I loved going to my school’s talent show. My friends often had hidden talents that they kept a secret until their performance, which always blew me away.
I never participated in the shows myself, though. I have stage fright!
Of course, you have the usual routine: singers, dancers, and actors give it their very best on stage. But every year, a few of the acts surprise me. They are creative, interesting, and captivating. One year, I saw two boys my age paint a mural in under ten minutes!
This next performance is just another one of those that is so thrilling, I can’t stop watching.
In it, seven girls line up on stage in black and white costumes. They lock arms and, when the music comes on, they move their feet.
You can immediately see what they’re trying to do: create an optical illusion!
Now check out their performance in the clip below, and see if you think they deserve one of the top prizes. It’s a great and original routine that would be perfect for a group of students who don’t want to take the stage alone.
