Marilyn Manson is known as ‘the most famous satanist in the world’ – did you know that? I didn’t until today! Yes, I’ve obviously always thought he was creepy and weird looking and his music is not to my taste, but I really had no idea that he’s been member (he’s a honorary priest) of the Church of Satan since 1996. Yikes!
Celebs who are rumoured to be satanists, members of the Illuminati or who’ve dabbled in the occult
So, while Marilyn Manson is loud and proud about his involvement with satanism, there are so many rumours and conspiracy theories flying around on the net about other celebrities being involved in weird things, it’s hard to know which are true and which have been made up by crazy fans or ex-employees.

Lady Gaga
There have been rumours floating around for ages about Lady Gaga being involved with the Illuminati and satanism. Her music videos and the way she dresses is all rather strange and super freaky, but I think it’s all an act – giving fans what they want perhaps? Who knows!
Bjork
Bjork didn’t dabble in the occult – she was raised in it! Her mother was heavily involved from the time Bjork was born. The singer admits to still being interested in the occult and metaphysics. Her first band’s name was KUKL which is the Icelandic word for witchcraft.
David Bowie
Maybe it was all the drugs but the late David Bowie not only believed in witches and magic, he actually thought there were dark forces out to get him and steal his sperm! He was so afraid, he hired someone to perform an exorcism on him and he did rituals too – to keep the bad spirits away.
Beyonce and Jay Z
Search on the net and you’re guaranteed to find more than a few conspiracy theories about this power couple being members of the Illuminati. They reckon the triangle shape Beyonce often makes with her hands, and even the name she chose for her first child is reference to being a member. ‘They’ say that ‘Blue Ivy’ stands for ‘Born living under evil, Illuminati’s very youngest’.
I think people have too much time on their hands to come up with stuff like that!
The Beatles
Because one of their album covers from the ’60s had the face of Aleister Crowely (a magician and occultist) on it, many people suspected this was the Beatles’ way of saying they were involved in satanism. Others thought they just put it there ‘to be cool’. What do you think?
