Pakistan will be determined to wipe their first innings deficit when play resumes on the third day of the second test against hosts West Indies in Barbados on Tuesday.

The tourists will resume their opening innings on 172 for the loss of three wickets, still trailing by 140 runs, with opener Azhar Ali (81) and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq (7) at the crease at the Kensington Oval.
