Tragedy struck around 1a.m, today, in Alesa community, Eleme, Rivers State, as a man went violent and killed his four children before hanging himself to death.

According to reports, the deceased had attempted to kill his wife with a machete, last night, but she narrowly escaped. He, however, went back home to strangle their children to death
.
