Killers of NDU student, arrested

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of 19 years old Seiyefa Fred, the 100 level student of Niger Delta University who was killed on Thursday, November 8, by robbers trying to snatch her phone in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

They were picked up in the early hours of today. Junior Daumunabo, 20, of Ebis Mechanic Street Amarata, was arrested with a locally made pistol. .

The suspect led Police to arrest one Ayibakepreye Idionyo, 30, who allegedly supplied the locally made pistol.

Upon interrogation, Daumunabo confessed to be a member of the Greenland cult group. He also confessed that he was a member of the gang that shot and killed Seiyefa. Investigation is ongoing to apprehend other gang members.
