Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez has sent a warning to Bayern Munich ahead of their Champions League tie despite theirwinless run at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid struggled to get a 1-1 draw from the clash with Athletico Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

The Spanish attacker believes that Real Madrid is full of confidence and they are ready to take on Bayern Munich for a place in final of the Champions League.

The European and La Liga Champions have failed to win a match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu before the clash against the Bavarian in the Champions League semi-final second leg.

“It is true that we had the Bayern game in mind, but not when we began playing,” the Spaniard told reporters.

“We have a week to work on it. We are in good form, we have confidence and we are playing well.

“[The draw] gives us a bittersweet taste. We played a great game.

“They went ahead and then backed off. We had chances but weren’t right. That’s the truth.”

Real Madrid will travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich for the first leg of semifinals of the Champions League before they take on Leganes before the second leg at Bernabeu.
